Where BoxBrownie wins

  • Better photos for every portal. Retouched, brighter photos help every listing, including ones that will never get a tour.
  • Pay per image. No subscription, from a couple of dollars.
  • Staging and floor plans. Things Highbuilt does not offer.
  • Scale and trust. Large networks use it, and you can test it for free.

Where Highbuilt wins

  • Movement through the unit. A slideshow shows rooms one at a time; a walkable tour shows how they connect, which is what a buyer abroad can't picture.
  • What's outside the photos. The floor, the direction, the sun on the balcony, the walk to the train.
  • One link for the buyer. Instead of 25 photos in a chat, one tour that opens on a phone.

Honest limits of Highbuilt

  • If the listing photos are poor or few, the tour can only be as good as them. Fixing the photos first (with BoxBrownie or a photographer) helps us too.
  • No staging: we show the furniture that is there.
  • A reconstruction, labelled as such.

Which one should you choose?

  • Dark, cluttered or empty-room photos → BoxBrownie first.
  • Good photos, buyer abroad, no visit possible → Highbuilt.
  • A premium listing sold to foreigners → both: edited photos for the portal, a Highbuilt tour for the buyer.

How we compared

BoxBrownie's prices and services come from its public pricing page, read on 2 November 2026. The page shows "US$30" for virtual staging without saying per image explicitly; we wrote it as their page shows it. We run Highbuilt.

FAQ

Does BoxBrownie make 3D tours?

It sells "virtual tours" from $20, a photo-based tour, plus 3D renders and 360° renders. It does not rebuild the unit as a model you walk through with its building and area.

Can I send Highbuilt photos edited by BoxBrownie?

Yes, as long as the rooms are not restaged. Edited light and colour help; invented furniture would make the tour show something the buyer won't find.

Which is better value?

For one listing's photos, BoxBrownie. For closing a buyer who can't visit, a single tour replaces a long chat of photos and questions.
