Where Realsee wins

  • Cost per tour once you own the gear. A credit keeps a tour online for 30 days for a few dollars, and viewing is free.
  • Measured capture. With the Galois LiDAR camera you get a 3D model, a floor plan and a point cloud.
  • Live 3D Call. You can walk a client through the tour while talking to them.

Where Highbuilt wins

  • Nobody goes to the unit. No camera to buy, no tenant to call, no trip to Phuket.
  • It works on listings you can't reach: off-plan units, units listed by a co-agent, tenanted units, a unit in another city.
  • The street and the building. Buyers abroad see the floor, the direction, the sun and the walk to the BTS in the same link.

Honest limits of Highbuilt

  • No measurements: never use a Highbuilt tour to state the unit's area.
  • About 24 hours per tour, not instant.
  • Only as good as the listing photos: a room with no photo is approximate.

Which one should you choose?

  • Your team visits every unit and wants the cheapest tour per listing → Realsee.
  • The unit is far away, tenanted, off-plan or listed by someone else → Highbuilt.
  • A big portfolio → Realsee for units you shoot anyway, Highbuilt for the rest.

How we compared

Realsee's prices, credit rules and capture devices come from its own credit plans page and help centre, read on 3 November 2026. The price of the Galois camera is not listed there, so we don't quote one. We run Highbuilt.

FAQ

Does Realsee need someone at the unit?

Yes. Every Realsee capture method (LiDAR camera, 360 camera, gimbal or phone app) is used on site.

How much does a Realsee tour cost?

Credits cost $2.25 to $3.00 each depending on the pack. One credit keeps a tour active for 30 days; captures made with a phone, gimbal or 360 camera also cost a credit to generate.

Can Highbuilt replace a measured Realsee scan?

No. If you need measured areas or a point cloud, scan the unit. Highbuilt is for units nobody can visit.
